This is a custom table designed to add a dining area to an existing kitchen island. The design was intended to fit in the space both physically and aesthetically to provide a convenient dining area. It was essential to create as much dining space as possible so the client could fit four or five stools. The table is constructed of stainless steel and it was manufactured through collaborative work with an engineer at MONMETAL.
The customers can move the table with ease as it is not too heavy; this is useful to make the table and chairs face the opposite direction where the clients have a lounging space with a TV—creating a different entertaining space when needed.
